Team Shirts/Choreography

I picked up the team shirts today. They are so cute! I hope everyone likes them!!
I will have them at practice on Thursday, along with everything else. Mandy will have the bows you ordered also, so please be ready to pay for them.

Don't forget that the choreography fee of $160 is now due (juniors and seniors only). If you are planning on using some of your fundraising money to pay for it, please let Vicki know. She typically doesn't use your fundraising money unless you notify her. You can drop her a note in the black payment box at the gym.

Junior Moms - during choreography on Saturday, the girls typically bring their lunch. I thought about picking up Little Caesar's pizza for the girls and dropping them off at the gym for lunch. What are your thoughts on this? If everyone contributed $3, that should cover the pizzas and drinks. I just figured that would be easier than everyone hitting up the grocery on Friday night to put together sack lunches! ha ha ha Or, we can get something else. I just figured pizza was a hit with all kids. :) Last but not least......don't forget the Jr. cookout at The Bensley's on Monday, June 22 @ 5:30pm. She needs help with food and we definitely need supervision at the mall. Could you imagine if we were banned from there? Oh my gosh! I'd certainly die!! ha ha

A few announcements

Cheer Shoes - these are only supposed to be worn inside at the gym or at competitions. We want them to stay nice and pearly white throughout the season. Junior squad shoes are in. Please see Rollie to get them. If you need to exchange, let him know after practice on Thursday.

Tshirts and Flip Flops - I was hoping to have everything for you at practice on Thursday. Unfortunately the world does not work according to my schedule. I will have everything for you at the June 18th practice.

Choreography fees are due June 11th. Please make checks for $160 payable to Cheers Elite. Don't forget the dates are June 26, 27, and 28. This will be a long weekend, so be prepared for your girls to be at the gym for several hours each day. Also, the gym will be closed during choreography, however, we usually get to come in the last hour or so on Sunday afternoon to see the routine.

Juniors - don't forget the cookout at the Bensley's home on June 22nd at 5:30pm. Leigh Ann will have a sign up sheet for food items. Afterwards, we will be going over to the mall for a scavenger hunt. We will split the girls into 4 teams and each team will need a digital camera and 2 adults. (In other words, this isn't a drop off and run event.) We need help supervising the girls so we aren't thrown out of the mall. ha ha ha! This will be a great bonding experience for the girls. Its important for them to get to know each other and have conversations that don't start with "5-6-7-8!"

Don't forget to pay your June dues. Also, the fall schedules are out for you to schedule a tumbling class! Grab a spot before they are full.

I won't be at practice on Thursday. I have a date with Keith Urban in St. Louis! Sorry!! See you guys next week!!

Lookin' Good

Hey girls! I just wanted to tell you all that you are looking great! I always seem to be running around like a crazed cheer mom, but I promise that I do stop to notice what's going on with the squads. First I want to say that Isabella Myers on the mini squad has the most beautiful jumps. She is so graceful....check her out sometime! Also, Madysen Bassett on the junior squad did her round-off, back handspring, back tuck on the tumble track this week without a spotter! Way to go girl! And finally, hooray for McKayla Siener!! She's been doing her back handspring all by herself! All the squads are looking awesome! Keep it up!

One last thing....Welcome Amanda Matthews to the Cheers Elite family! She will be on the senior squad! We're glad to have her. Have a great weekend!!

Let me start by saying that you guys are the most "with-it" moms that I know! You are so diligent with turning in money and orders and I appreciate that so much! Please know that aside from the uniform and shoes, there's NOTHING that you have to order. I just put it out there and if you want it.....Great! And if you don't, that's ok too!! :)

I am extending the team tshirt order and the flip flop order until next Thursday. I will be placing all orders on Friday morning.....no exceptions. I decided to extend it because some people were unaware that the shirts and flops were available.
