Cheers Elite Open Workouts and Tryout FAQ's

Frequently Asked Questions:

Who can attend the open workouts?
New members, old members, or anyone interested in checking out our program are invited.

What are the dates and times of the open workouts?
  • March 31 6-8pm
  • April 14 6-8pm
  • April 21 6-8pm
  • April 28 6-8pm
How much does it cost to attend?
Nothing!! It's free to members and non-members.

When are tryouts?
Tryouts for Cheers Elite will be held on Saturday, April 30th and Sunday, May 1.


After squads are formed, when will practices begin?
Practices will begin the first week of May.

If I can't attend tryouts, am I ineligible for Cheers Elite?
No, if you're interested and can't attend tryouts, please speak with Jim or Vicki. They can arrange a private tryout time for you.

What can I do to help offset the cost of all-star cheerleading?
Fundraisers are offered frequently and participation is encouraged, but certainly not mandatory.

They are offering after school tumbling bootcamps through March to help kids prepare for Cheerleading Tryouts! These sessions are available at the Paducah Lakewood...Tuesdays through Thursdays - through March '11.

They are also offering some CHEERS ELITE OPEN WORKOUTS (for those who might be interestedin joining Cheers Elite for next season)...but want to know more about it! There is no charge for these workouts...details can be printed out in a pdf from thewww.lakewoodgym.com website.

Also...Teaven Meredith is offering private lessons in Co-Ed Partner stunting basics. This information is also included in the pdf that can be downloaded from the website.
