Shirt Orders
Shirt Orders are due Saturday, October 10th. Prices are $10/short sleeve, $12/long sleeve, and $17/hoodie. All payments should be made to Kim Carper. The shirts will be handed out on October 24.
Also, don't forget that EXCITE NIGHT is going to be on Sunday, October 25th from 3-5pm. Friends and family are welcome. We will be doing team pictures prior to the event and each squad member needs to plan to be there wearing uniform, makeup and bows!

Pawprint shirts
I've gotten lots of requests on reordering baseball shirts. We can basically order anything we want. I spoke to him again today and here are your choices. Keep in mind that each squad will probably do some sort of shirt for their individual squad before the first competition. So, this won't be the last shirt order you see! :) Just remember....you do not have to order.....I'm just putting it out there if you want it.

If you liked that design, but didn't care for the baseball tee, I can order you the same design on a plain white tshirt for $12. Just let me know. Someone also asked about a hoodie. I can order a hoodie with the polka/dot paw print on it also. They will be $16. We won't have names put on the hoodies, because the hood covers up the name. This Monday is our last Fazoli's night. Let's make it the best one yet!!

- Minis - Mondays from 6-7:30 and Saturdays from 930-1100 in Paducah
- Juniors - Thursdays from 6-8 and Saturdays from 930-1130 Paducah
- Seniors - Wednesdays in MAYFIELD and Saturdays in Paducah at 10:45
The sponsorship forms are due this week. Please turn them in to Leigh Ann Bensley by August 8th. She will make sure your account is credited correctly.

Friday - 11:00-4:00 Wear teal sponsor shirt and black shorts. Team pictures PROMPTLY at 11:00am!!
Saturday - 8:30-1:00 Wear black team shirt (polka dots) and dark shorts.
Sunday - 8:30-12:00 Wear same thing as Friday.
The cookout was AWESOME!! Thanks to the Bensleys for hosting everyone. I also appreciate everyone contributing food and supplies. Despite the heat, it was a great time, with great food and great friends. I enjoyed catching up with old cheer friends and enjoyed getting to know the newbies even better. You guys are all a great group of people. And our girls? They are the best!! I think they had a blast at the mall scavenger hunt! Kailey's lips are still BRIGHT RED!! It was a good experience for them, as well as good bonding time. This cheer year is off to a fabulous start and the REAL FUN hasn't even begun!! Now, a few announcements for this weekend.....
UNIFORMS: Bring your old uniforms to choreography this weekend. We will be trying on and sizing to get these ordered ASAP. We don't want a repeat of last season. :)
FOOD: We had lots of drinks and chips left over from the cookout. I know we talked about getting bread and sandwich meat.....but I had another thought. What if we got a nugget tray from Chick-Fil-A or even Wendy's. The girls could have nuggets and chips. All we would need to buy would be plates, napkins, and cups. That way we wouldn't have to worry about bread, meat, condiments, etc. Let me know your thoughts on this. I think for Friday, they could all bring their own snack. Saturday, Rollie said they would have a short lunch time around 11:30am. Again, let me know.

Team Shirts/Choreography
I picked up the team shirts today. They are so cute! I hope everyone likes them!!
I will have them at practice on Thursday, along with everything else. Mandy will have the bows you ordered also, so please be ready to pay for them.
Don't forget that the choreography fee of $160 is now due (juniors and seniors only). If you are planning on using some of your fundraising money to pay for it, please let Vicki know. She typically doesn't use your fundraising money unless you notify her. You can drop her a note in the black payment box at the gym.
Junior Moms - during choreography on Saturday, the girls typically bring their lunch. I thought about picking up Little Caesar's pizza for the girls and dropping them off at the gym for lunch. What are your thoughts on this? If everyone contributed $3, that should cover the pizzas and drinks. I just figured that would be easier than everyone hitting up the grocery on Friday night to put together sack lunches! ha ha ha Or, we can get something else. I just figured pizza was a hit with all kids. :) Last but not least......don't forget the Jr. cookout at The Bensley's on Monday, June 22 @ 5:30pm. She needs help with food and we definitely need supervision at the mall. Could you imagine if we were banned from there? Oh my gosh! I'd certainly die!! ha ha

A few announcements
Cheer Shoes - these are only supposed to be worn inside at the gym or at competitions. We want them to stay nice and pearly white throughout the season. Junior squad shoes are in. Please see Rollie to get them. If you need to exchange, let him know after practice on Thursday.
Tshirts and Flip Flops - I was hoping to have everything for you at practice on Thursday. Unfortunately the world does not work according to my schedule. I will have everything for you at the June 18th practice.
Choreography fees are due June 11th. Please make checks for $160 payable to Cheers Elite. Don't forget the dates are June 26, 27, and 28. This will be a long weekend, so be prepared for your girls to be at the gym for several hours each day. Also, the gym will be closed during choreography, however, we usually get to come in the last hour or so on Sunday afternoon to see the routine.
Juniors - don't forget the cookout at the Bensley's home on June 22nd at 5:30pm. Leigh Ann will have a sign up sheet for food items. Afterwards, we will be going over to the mall for a scavenger hunt. We will split the girls into 4 teams and each team will need a digital camera and 2 adults. (In other words, this isn't a drop off and run event.) We need help supervising the girls so we aren't thrown out of the mall. ha ha ha! This will be a great bonding experience for the girls. Its important for them to get to know each other and have conversations that don't start with "5-6-7-8!"
Don't forget to pay your June dues. Also, the fall schedules are out for you to schedule a tumbling class! Grab a spot before they are full.

Lookin' Good
Hey girls! I just wanted to tell you all that you are looking great! I always seem to be running around like a crazed cheer mom, but I promise that I do stop to notice what's going on with the squads. First I want to say that Isabella Myers on the mini squad has the most beautiful jumps. She is so graceful....check her out sometime! Also, Madysen Bassett on the junior squad did her round-off, back handspring, back tuck on the tumble track this week without a spotter! Way to go girl! And finally, hooray for McKayla Siener!! She's been doing her back handspring all by herself! All the squads are looking awesome! Keep it up!
One last thing....Welcome Amanda Matthews to the Cheers Elite family! She will be on the senior squad! We're glad to have her. Have a great weekend!!

Let me start by saying that you guys are the most "with-it" moms that I know! You are so diligent with turning in money and orders and I appreciate that so much! Please know that aside from the uniform and shoes, there's NOTHING that you have to order. I just put it out there and if you want it.....Great! And if you don't, that's ok too!! :)

Way to go everyone! Leigh Ann Bensley and I turned in over $4000 to Vicki last night after counting the money for the tshirt fundraiser. You guys are awesome. You guys sold about 300 names! Fantastic! Now I get to figure out how to get them on the shirt! ha ha ha! I'll work it out....promise! Anyway....I thinkour parents are the best! I think our girls are the best! I think our coaches are the best! It's going to be a great year!! I'll post a tshirt design as soon as I get it......it won't be today...we have field day at school! woohoo!! Car Magnets and Decals
Hello everyone!! Leigh Ann Bensley wanted to let everyone know that she will be placing an order for car magnets or decals. I am sure some of you have seen them on the back or sides of some of our vehicles. She will also bring one on Thurs. if you want to look at one. Money Clarification
If you sell tickets to the open gym fundraiser, give that money to Vicki or put it in the black payment box. Put your name on the envelope and write that it is money for open gym.

Tshirt info
Melissa Siener had a great idea! Many of you will have a set of grandparents or other couples who pay to have their names go on the back of our cheer shirt. Rather than listing the names separatley, let's list them together (for spatial reasons). For example, let's put Tom & Mary Williams. I hope that makes sense. Please indicate that on your forms so I'll know to list them that way.

$$ How to turn in fundraiser money $$
Hey everyone! The question has been asked….”How do we turn in fundraising money?” I called Vicki today for clarification. Any fundraising money you have to turn in needs to be given to Vicki. Please do not leave it at the counter. Paying monthly fees at the counter is fine, but all money submitted from fundraisers needs to be given to Vicki. If she is busy or you can’t find her, you can always drop it in the black payment box at the gym. Just be sure to make a note stating that the money is from a fundraiser and put whose account it goes into. Vicki has a binder that she will use to keep up with each girl’s account. If you have not filled out the contact sheet yet, please do so. This contact sheet is an important part to the book-keeping process.
Hopefully I will have a shirt design to send out to everyone in a few days. Have a great weekend!
